Ten years ago Courtney Bell ran into a problem. She had envisioned a charm bracelet with seashells to wear with her summer wardrobe but was unable to find just what she was looking for. Feeling frustrated, she decided to make it herself. One bracelet tuned into two and soon her friends and family were wearing her bracelets. Bracelets morphed into necklaces and Courtney Bell Collection began at her kitchen counter after business hours when she would return home from work.
Courtney uses vintage brooches, reworks them giving them a new purpose and a new life.
“I appreciate the workmanship from an era gone by and love the patina of an older piece that only time can create.”
Courtney’s pieces are bold yet feminine and harken back to the and 50’s and 60’s. They are equally at home with a “Little Black Dress” or a pair of blue jeans.
“I enjoy creating pieces for women to enjoy… and it’s great fun to see my pieces being worn and around the triangle and beyond!”
