Born in Poland, Marta’s discerning eye and love for fashion developed at a young age, when she would flip through fashion magazines. After completing Cracow’s University of Economics, Marta aspired to a career in the fashion industry. She moved to Connecticut and started as a sales associate for several boutiques, such as Darien Sport Shop in Connecticut. After moving to North Carolina, she set her sights on opening a store for her loyal customer base that would focus on personal consultation and clothing that works for women of all sizes and ages. With her keen eye for detail and fresh approach to styling, Marta’s ability to dress the modern woman has solidified her presence in an ever changing industry.

After graduating from the North Carolina State University Wilson College of Textiles, Sarah worked as a clothing designer and product developer for 10 years in NYC. This experience not only taught her the importance of quality and fit, but also allowed her to travel the world and work directly with the people who make our clothing. Now back in NC, she uses her textile and technical expertise to help Marta’s patrons find the perfect fit and style to suit their needs. She values personal style over trends and above all, wants to help others feel good in their own skin.
